Ragav was my trainer for my Python and Database Design modules in my accelerated learning graduate programme. In total, the modules ran for roughly a month and 2 weeks. I strongly feel that it was much more extensive than what I've learned at my university. The exercises given simulated the real world as examples and this reflected the experience Ragav has in the industry. Ragav was given a group of graduates to train, including myself, with varying knowledge in Python and Database design. One of the goals was to have all the graduates at the same level of expertise in these knowledge areas. Ragav did exactly that through constant testing and questioning. I never felt dumb or insecure for not knowing the answer because he encouraged learning. This means that he would use multiple examples to explain a concept. Additionally, he praised my good work, which made me feel recognized for my efforts. The modules covered the basics of Python the advanced things such as flask. Ragav regularly gave us assignments to research concepts or complete exercises. We've touched on data science with libraries such as scikit, pandas, numpy, matplotlib, and seaborn. I am from an Information Systems background so I was not as knowledgeable on certain terms as some of my colleagues who've done computer science. However, I now feel much more confident in my code and speaking about coding. Great work Ragav!
